Leadership

A senior team with deep tenure and a working record across UK and international offshore.

Operating philosophy

Network strength, not headcount.

TAG’s model has always been to assemble heavy engineering programmes from a network of specialist contractors with deep tenure on Teesside, rather than to carry fixed headcount through demand cycles. The senior team has been validated, repeatedly, on contracts that demanded the simultaneous management of design, procurement, finance, fabrication and offshore commissioning.

Cross-border contracting.
Working record on contracts spanning the UK, North Sea, Russia, Mexico and the wider international offshore sector. Hull procurement, topside design, financing facility arrangement and operator charter contracting — all delivered on one programme.
Heavy industrial site reactivation.
Track record of bringing mothballed or under-used heavy industrial sites back into productive use — Haverton Hill for the Kawasaki TBM build, the tubular production facility for the offshore wind cycle.
Operator relationships.
Long-standing relationships with operators, prime contractors and specialist subcontractors. The network is the asset.

Governance

Reporting cadence is structured around monthly management accounts within 10 working days of month-end, quarterly board packs covering order book, pipeline, capex drawdown, HSE and QA KPIs, and an annual budget and three-year plan refresh. Capex stage-gate sign-off at preliminary design, detailed design, procurement award and commissioning milestones.
