TAG’s capability stack runs from large-diameter tubular production through to topside module assembly and offshore commissioning. The waterfront location gives direct load-out of heavy structures to marine transport — a structural cost advantage on packages in the upper weight range.

Core capabilities

What TAG builds.

Capability is the product of equipment, accreditation and people. TAG maintains access to a substantial range of heavy fabrication and welding equipment. A stable team of coded welders qualified to project and international standards, alongside QA engineers, trade supervisors and project staff.

Structural steelwork

TAG personnel have built and delivered major offshore jackets ranging from 1,500 to 6,000 tonnes for offshore platforms, alongside offshore wind structural steelwork including foundation components, transition pieces, substation steelwork and ancillary structures.

Major fabrications

Topside modules, pipeline supports, deck modifications and EPIC subsea project work. A capability stack that few regional competitors can match across all sub-segments.

Offshore wind structures

Foundation components, transition pieces, substation steelwork and ancillary structures. Quay-side load-out makes the upper weight range commercially feasible.

Tubular production

Rolling and welding of large-diameter tubulars and the construction of monopiles, tripods, jackets and transition pieces. Heritage capability with a delivery record across major offshore wind builds.

Programme management

Simultaneous management of design, procurement, finance, fabrication and offshore commissioning. The execution model is the through-line of every TAG contract.

Marine load-out

Quay-side berths supporting direct load-out to marine transport, sized and drafted for the largest offshore packages the market is putting out to tender.

Subsea heritage

Decades of subsea structural work.

Subsea fabrication is a separate discipline from generic structural steelwork — tighter tolerances, different welding procedures, and a quality regime that has to satisfy operators and certifying authorities simultaneously. TAG personnel have been delivering subsea modules and supports for offshore programmes across the North Sea and internationally for almost three decades.
